Hornet Solutions is an International brand with offices set up in 4 different countries in the world. This Privacy Policy describes how Hornet Solutions collects and processes personal information about its clients, how they use and protect this information and rights in relation to this information.

Registered Dealer’s Policy

Please note that Hornet Solutions operates globally either directly or through their registered dealers.

 

Hornet Solutions dealers are not necessarily subsidiaries of the mother company and may also be individually owned. These entities will have their own privacy notice and where they collect and process personal information, their own respective privacy notices will apply.

1. PERSONAL INFORMATION HORNET SOLUTIONS USE

Hornet Solutions will collect personal information about clients from a variety of sources, including information they collect from individuals directly, e.g.:

  • if you are a customer when you register as a Hornet Solutions dealer;

If you are a business partner our legitimate interest, for example, are ensuring that the services you provide are appropriate for our needs, that your services function correctly with our systems, that any complaints or concerns can be promptly relayed to you, and our records are kept up to date and accurate.

  • Cloud service providers. We partner with cloud service providers such as E-Bay and Amazon to store your personal information in the cloud.
  • Hornet Solutions (Pty Ltd, various Hornet Solutions subsidiaries, so we work closely with other businesses and companies that fall under this family. We may share certain information about customers’ using serial numbers, buying and browsing history, and customers’ questions or concerns with Hornet Solutions Global Holdings and other Hornet Solutions companies for marketing purposes, internal reporting, and response to customers’ questions or concerns.
  • Law enforcement agencies, courts, regulators, government authorities. We may share your personal information with these parties where we believe this is necessary to comply with a legal or regulatory obligation, or otherwise to protect our rights or the rights of any third party.
  • Asset purchasers. We may share your personal information with any third party that purchases, or to which we transfer, all or substantially all of our assets and business. Furthermore, we may work with third party service providers while storing or processing your personal information, for example, your personal information may be stored in the cloud by our cloud service providers and they may keep your personal information in locations outside the Economic Area of both the USA or Europe, which do not provide an adequate level of protection.
